I thought I would share with you the HUGE pile of books I always have sitting around me! (Just in case this mom of eight gets a few spare moments lol! A girl has got to be prepared, right? 🙂

I’m always looking for good books that challenge, inspire, and encourage me to grow deeper in my walk with The Lord Jesus Christ,  improve my homemaking skills, and that encourage me to be a better wife, mother and homemaker!

1. The Holy Bible- This trusty friend is what I fill up on daily. It is such a HUGE part of me and a absolute necessity for my life that it is like breathing to me!

The second picture lists various other books I am hoping to read this year! Notice I use the word hoping because with all my kiddos I will be happy to read at least one of these books! Some of these books were Christmas presents from my family and others were treasures I picked up from our local thrift store! Getting books free or next to free always makes me feel extra good!

Psst… That’s my handsome King (husband) in the background! Just in case you all were curious 🙂

I currently have been reading the third book from the top titled Passionate Housewives Desperate For God by Chancey & McDonald. This book has been challenging me in so many ways and I have practically dog eared almost every page because their have been so many truths to what I’ve read! If you are looking for a good Christian book to challenge you check this one out for sure!

What is on your book list for 2016? I would love to hear what books you have chosen to challenge, encourage, and inspire you in this new year!
