Leaning On The Everlasting Arms

Last night, I woke up in the middle of the night, unable to sleep. My mind and heart were burdened down and heavy laden  with concerns about my children, obstacles my family is  facing in the near future, and things I wanted to accomplish in the home. Realizing that I had not talked to my Heavenly Father about these things yet; I dove into prayer and began to talk things out to him!

Instantly, I felt better and could feel my mind and body begin to relax as I yielded towards Him! I knew I could trust him to guide my steps accordingly in the days to come and give me the discernment and guidance I need to make good choices! Although, I still DON’T know the outcome of the upcoming events I had worried about last night, I DO know that I am safe right where I am at–Leaning On My Heavenly Fathers Ever Lasting Arms!

Praise God for His Everlasting Arms!

Have you trusted Jesus to get you through confusing, difficult times? If so, I’d love to hear your stories! The Book Of Revelation says that they overcame the devil by their testimonies and the blood of the lamb! Somebody out there may need to hear your story today!

Twin Cities Family Homeschool Conference

I took the last three days off from blogging to attend a homeschool conference with my family! It was such a great experience for everyone! It both challenged and encouraged us in our faith which is exactly what we needed to be more effective for The Body Of Christ. It made me ready to tackle this next school year and helped me to refocus my goals for my children, and myself spiritually. It encouraged me as a wife and helped me to remember those lies satan wants to dangle over me that prevent me from loving my husband as Christ would!

This conference gave me revival in myself, my marriage, and my family and the messages that I heard have changed my life and brought me to a closer understanding and relationship to God. I was so blessed to hear sermons and teachings from S.M Davis, Tom Harmon, Chris Hogan, Paul and Jenny Speed, David Waller, and Gill Bates!

My children made lots of new friends and were able to do skits, crafts, sing, and be challenged in their faith! My oldest son was able to learn emergency responder skills and go canoeing!

If you ever get a chance to attend one of these conferences —do it!! Your family will thank you!! Mine cried when it was over because they didn’t want it to end!!
